Step 3

At this stage we run a check to see if your mail has met the product requirements and the criteria set out in Pre-lodgement and Lodgement.

What we check:

A Statement of Posting arrives with your mail lodgement
Statement of Accuracy ID Number and % rating are declared
Envelope Layout Standards and Address Layout Standards met
Presented in line with the Lodgement Standards (an approved PermitPost indicia, correctly labelled, trayed, faced, postcode order etc)
Volume received is correct
The recorded lodgement time matches the Product Code used

Please note: If any of the above criteria fail a product requirement check, you should expect cost implications for your mailing.

To see the product codes and rates that will appear on your invoice, please refer to the Bulk Mail Non-Conformance Pricing Schedule (.xls - 56kb). If the Bulk Mail standards are not met then the Product Code and mail rate may change.
