    International Air Satchel Lodgements are cheaper than using stamps, ASM impressions or Postage Included Envelopes, depending on the size, weight and destination of your items

    Simply put all your International Air letters and parcels (up to 2kg) into an International Air Satchel and complete an IBP009 consignment note. To make it even easier your consignment notes can be pre-printed for you if required
  • Only pay for what you send.
    Parcels are charged using continuous weight pricing. This means you will pay for the actual weight of your items in 10g increments. The minimum charge for International Air parcels is 100g
  • GST Zero Rated Pricing.
    You'll save administration time and improve cashflows because you don't have to pay GST on the item you send, and then claim it back later

Pricing is based on weight. Use our handy Rate Finder for parcel price information.

With continuous weight pricing you will pay for the actual weight of your items in 10g increments. The minimum charge for International Air parcels is for 100g. Rolls and tubes are charged as parcels. All customs duties, sales taxes and other regulatory charges are payable by the receiver on delivery.

Target delivery for International Air letters and parcels

International Air provides delivery in approximately 3 - 10 working days around the world. Target delivery days are for major cities and exclude weekends and public holidays. Delivery to areas outside major cities or where your item is dutiable or is held in Customs may take a little longer.  View our Guide to World Zones.

Other important points about International Air Satchel lodgement

You must hold an account with New Zealand Post to access this service. Each item must also have a PermitPost impression and an International Air service indicator. Special conditions and charges may apply. Your New Zealand Post representative can tailor a package to suit your needs.
