International Economy
When speed is not as important.

International Economy parcels offer a 15% cost saving off the standard International Air price.
- Only pay for what you send.
Parcels are charged using continuous weight pricing. This means you will pay for the actual weight of your items in 10g increments. The minimum charge for International Economy parcels is 100g.
- Range of sizes.
To make your postage more cost effective, there are three letter size options for your international mail, up to a maximum weight of 200g.
- Peace of mind.
International Economy includes compensation cover for loss or damage up to NZ$250. Items valued over NZ$250 but less than NZ$1,500 are classified as high risk but can be sent if additional compensation cover is purchased.

If your parcel exceeds the above dimensions, and/or the maximum weight, New Zealand Post cannot accept your parcel.
Documentation

For International Economy parcels up to 2kg, simply complete a green Customs declaration (OS008A) listing each item and its commercial value and attach to your parcel.

If your parcel is valued at more than NZ$250, please follow the instructions for parcels over 2kg.

For International Economy parcels over 2kg, simply complete the red consignment note (OS007), listing each item and its commercial value in the space provided.

If your parcel is being sent as part of a commercial transaction, an export invoice (NCPI025) or a copy of the commercial invoice must also be completed and attached to the outside of the parcel.
