The New Zealand Change of Address (NZCOA) is a database designed to help your organisation to keep your mailing list(s) up to date. You can rent the database directly from us or use one of our Data Solution Providers to do the work for you.

New Zealand organisations have understood for some time now that selling to and servicing existing customers is far cheaper than trying to acquire new ones. Over 400,000 households move each year and subsequently New Zealand Post has created New Zealand Change of Address (NZCOA), a database comprised of accurate and up to date mover information in New Zealand for correcting and verifying addresses on your existing mailing list(s).
We offer two simple options:
- develop an in-house system using our file
- use one of our Data Solution Providers
Why use NZCOA?
NZCOA provides your organisation an opportunity to reconnect with your customers who you may have lost contact with when they move house or changed postal address. It may also help your organisation to reduce mail costs by reducing “Gone No Address” mail types.

Prices
Our license models have the flexibility to suit all types of organisations, from service re-sellers, to end-users, and list owners. All licensees provide a monthly audit and usage log to New Zealand Post, except for Internal Business License – Model 1.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and exclude GST. There is an annual minimum purchase of $2500 (excluding GST) payable on the anniversary of the date of the agreement. Of the amount charged for each record (Bureau Service Provider, Commercial List owner Data Cleansing) you retain 50% of the fee and pay New Zealand Post Limited the other 50%.
