How To Use Your Prezzy Card
Using your Prezzy Card for a purchase is similar to using a credit card.
- Know your balance before you shop, and check that the store in which you are making your purchase accepts Visa electronically.
- At the time of purchase, give the Prezzy Card to the staff member and ask to sign the purchase receipt.
- If asked, swipe the card through the eftpos terminal and push the "credit" and "enter" button on the keypad, then sign the receipt. Note: Your Prezzy card does not come with a PIN; do not push "debit" or your purchase will be declined.
- Each time you use your card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your card balance.
- Once the expiry date is reached any outstanding balance cannot be used, so we encourage you to spend the full amount of your gift within this time. The expiry date is printed on the front of the card so you can keep track of this.
- The Prezzy Card does not offer a line of credit like your credit card. Spending is limited to the amount of money placed on the card by the purchaser.
