New Lineflow size added to the ParcelPost™ range
On 28 October 2008, we introduced an additional size in the ParcelPost™ range. This new size will be more economic if you are sending larger items like records, calendars and board games between the North Island and the South Island.
What's new?
The new Lineflow size 395mm x 455mm (height x length) is available in both our ParcelPost™ Tracked range and our ParcelPost™ PO Box Priority range as outlined below:
| New Lineflow Products in ParcelPost™ Range |

This means that if you are sending an item between the North Island and the South Island, and it fits within the new Lineflow size dimensions and weighs up to 5kg, it will now cost you less.

What hasn’t changed?
The service delivery targets, compensation, postage options and other terms you get with this new Lineflow size are the same as those associated with the ParcelPost™ Tracked range, or the ParcelPost™ PO Box Priority range.
Why the change?
In March 2008, New Zealand Post introduced a new pricing in proportion system for all standard domestic mail. Since then, New Zealand Post has received feedback that some customers require a more economic way to send larger items (eg records, xrays or building plans) nationwide. New Zealand Post is responding to that feedback with the launch of this new Lineflow size.
