- Purchase one of the following from your local PostShop or online to send your letter using Standard Post
- Stamps
- Postage Included Envelopes - They are easy to use and ready to go when you are. Postage on postage included envelopes can only be used once and are for sending within New Zealand only.
- Businesses can also use:
- Post your letters in the Standard Post slot of New Zealand Post mail boxes (posting boxes) or PostShop letter slots.
Compensation, high risk and prohibited items
Before sending mail items around the country, make sure that what you're sending is safe to send and whether it will be covered if the item goes missing or is damaged. Make sure you read our prohibited items guide and our compensation guide for more information.
